I love nice visual and appealing apps and tools... RTM made large improvements in this last year, so I am very happy with this...

And I also love to make my tags and list names a little bit more attractive and recognizable. So i use colors for my different tag types (eg. green for subject related tags, blue for process related tags)...

But lately I have been adding emoticons, which work very nicely cross device too.

My process tags look like the following:
📞_call
🙍_people
⏰_waiting_for
☁️_someday_maybe

and two of my lists (which I also capitalize):
📅_WEEKSTART
🏢_WORK

I love this visual aspect and you can add both emoticons on your phone .. but also on your desktop it is rather easy...

search on a nice term and use the copy functionality on the page... then just create/rename a list or tag and paste the emoticon in....
