Track and visualize tasks on Google Calendar
hashnuke says:
Hello everyone,
I wanted to track and visualize how I'm progressing with daily routine tasks.
I made an IFTTT applet to add any task I want to track, to Google Calendar once it is completed.
Setup is easy:
* Create a new calendar on Google Calendar to keep these events separate.
* Signup for IFTTT.com, enable the applet and choose your calendar to add tasks to - https://ifttt.com/applets/iWu6PvQY-send-completed-tasks-tagged-trackthis-to-google-calendar
* Add the tag "trackthis" to any task you want to track.
* Mark tasks as complete and watch your Google Calendar speak volumes about your routine :)
Have fun ~!

Hey hashnuke- Thanks for the idea! It seems like this setup might elegantly replace some of those "habit tracking" systems. I'm just a bit hesitant to reactivate my IFTTT account; it never seemed to be very reliable in years past (I disabled my account almost two years ago).

Hi hashnuke, great tip! And Raymond is right. :) You're this week's Tips & Tricks Tuesday winner, and we've added a free year of Pro to your Remember The Milk account. Thanks for sharing!
