Connect RTM and IFTTT (e. g. to log and visualize your productivity in Google Spreadsheets)
Here's a quick hack to connect RTM and IFTTT:
Let's say you want to create a nice, tidy spreadsheet of when you added or completed high-priority tasks for work (i.e. within a certain #work tag, having a !1 priority). Using RTM's Atom feed URLs and IFTTT, that's very easy:
1. Create a Smart List that matches your criteria.
2. Copy that Smart List's Atom feed URL
3. Create an IFTTT account and create a recipe:
IF --> Feed Channel
[new item added to RSS feed, using your Smart List's feed URL]
THEN --> Google Drive Channel
[Add Row to Google Spreadsheet...]
IFTTT connects to a whole lot of other things (e.g. connected light bulbs, warning you of dueBefore:today tasks...), too – and through RTM's Atom feeds, it also connects to your RTM smart lists.
