Hi Kevin,
It's not currently possible to add a note at the same time you create a task, sorry. If this is something you'd like to see in the future, you may want to vote for it here.
User sam.douglas recently posted a cheat sheet which included the Smart Add shortcuts in this thread. In addition, you can find more details on the shortcuts here.
