To be sure I don't start anything else before I've check what I have to check, I create every evening a new task for each action to do on the next morning, that I tag as 'tomorrow' , and set the due date to 'tomorrow'.

Have you considered creating a repeating appointment in your calendar to review overnight jobs and use a checklist to list items to look at?
This ways if you forget to set the tomorrow reminder you will get a prompt in your calendar. Also other people will not be able to ask for your time before you've finished your checks.
