RTM, Siri and GTD data collection
Siri personal assistant and RTM (available on Apple iphone 4s) has given me a wonderful way to carry out an important step in the GTD (Getting things done). "Collecting Data" Collectiing Data, to me, is the process of recording needed tasks, projects and ideas so that they are not forgotten and can be processed at a later date. This process has become more and more crucial as I grow older (and thus more forgetful) or as my workload grows (and thus have more ideas to process). I often have these ideas when it is inconvenient to record them. Additionally, for some reason, these ideas come to mind more readily when I am away from the computer. Enter: the digital assistant Siri.

I simply setup siri to work with remember the milk. http://www.rememberthemilk.com/services/siri/
Now, when I am walking the dog, cleaning, cooking or out and about I can quickly and easily collect data and then work to process that data with tags and other appropriate data when I am back at the computer.
Thank you Siri and RTM for a wonderful and productive combination!
