Yes, I agree with Dominic, I prefer to enter these on my calendar as the information is required at a particular time.
What I DO do though is always put in a task to confirm receipt of the tickets - some venues only send out the tickets a few weeks ahead of the event by which time I may have "forgotten" about it and not have adequate time to chase them.
