Annual Credit Reports

Everyone in the United States entitled to one free credit report from each of the three main credit bureaus (Experian, Transunion, and Equifax) each year. See annualcreditreport.com. Instead of checking all three at the same time, I like to stagger the reports so that I can check my credit report every 4 months. So in my reminders list, I created the following tasks:

Check Experian Credit Report Jan 1st #reminders *yearly
Check Transunion Credit Report May 1st #reminders *yearly
Check Equifax Credit Report Sept 1st #reminders *yearly

I never knew you could get free credit reports! As a result of this tip I've obtained reports from Experian for both my husband and I, and I've added in the reminder as you have suggested. Thank you so much for this tip!
