RTM and Evernote integration

I suspect that like me many other RTM users are also big fans of Evernote. Until now, however, there never was a good way to link reference material in notes in Evernote to tasks in RTM.
In the latest Evernote update, Evernote enabled the ability to create hyperlinks from within their apps and web interface that you can use pretty much anywhere on a computer to get back to your notes...including that handy "URL" field associated with each RTM task.
Now when I need the How-to article for a task that I've clipped to my Evernote, I simply right click on the note in Evernote, copy the note link, and paste it into the URL field in my RTM task. The note will open up in Evernote wherever I am when I click on it- even on my phone.
The possibilities are endless, really. Connecting reference articles that help you accomplish tasks, connecting clipped photos of what you want to buy when you're doing shopping tasks, brainstorm lists or pictures of whiteboards when you need to ask someone a question about something at work...so many ways it can be used!
Can ya'll think of some other ways that you might use it?

Great tip! This works for the web version of Evernote as well if like me you prefer not to use the desktop version. Just copy the note URL directly from the browser's address bar.
I have a lot of tasks that I perform once a year and I usually have to refer to some notes to remember the steps involved. By scheduling these as yearly recurring tasks and linking them to the detailed notes in this way, I am good to go. No more wasting valuable time trying to remember what I named that note and/or searching for it!

When you share a note in Evernote and create a note url, anyone with the link will be able to view the note.
Your note becomes public, most of the times I want to keep my notes to myself...
I use tags in both evernote and RTM to link them together.
Still awaiting proper evernote integration...

mathieu.hubeek: unfortunately sharing in Evernote doesn't work at the moment.

I use the same system tag with evernote, rtm and gmail. So I have a dream, a great mashup that combines these 3 universes.

Ifttt.com mashes up a lot, and it does mash up Evernote and gmail. However, it doesn't have RTM yet. I've suggested it. That synchronizes different things, or automates them, anyway. If we don't get a native mashup, maybe Iftttt will do the trick (Ifttt stands for "If this, then that")
thecookiemomma says:
Forgot to add: it does mash up RSS feeds and google calendar, so if you use it that way, you can get single-direction functionality.

I do think it's very necessary for RTM to integrate with Evernote but It seems there is nothing showing RTM is doing this. What a pitty!
