Present List

A list that I just began with my wife shares the gifts that we might want to buy in the future: either for ourselves or each other. What we did was this:
We created a shared list called "wishlist" and we each add something that we want to eventually buy and then tag it with our respective names. For example, I would like to purchase a new gadget. I add the gadget name to the wishlist and tag it with my name as well as appx cost, store, and priority (toy vs necessity).
This allows me to use the 24 hour rule to really know if I want to buy it or not. Also, it allows me to remember something I wanted to buy in the past but forgot. Lastly, the list allows me to buy something for my wife (either a holiday present or random gift) at any time. Not only do I know what she wants, but she can add notes about color, size, type, etc. I can then arrange the list so that I can see what I can afford at the time. She can do the same for me with this list.
This shared wishlist allows us to buy each other gifts easily and hassle free. Among many things I use RTM for, this is one thing that help my relationship the most!
