Selection your actions from today and prioritize them, from GTD to Pomodoro

I have implemented my own variant of GTD. It results in a smart list with all my actions that I could start today. The name of this list is "Next tasks @ work", and I use the the filter specified at the end of this posting. It is a list that various between 10 and 30 actions. In fact too long to select my next action to work on.
I have created a another smart list, called To Do Today @ work. The filter of this smart list is also at the end of this section.
When I come in the office I review first my agenda to see how many meeting I have. Secondly, I review my list "Next tasks @ work" to see what actions need to be done and fit in the day. I select all the actions that I would like to do today and enter as due date Today. I use the short cut p to set the due date on today for all selected tasks.
Next step is open the smart list "To Do Today @ work" and review the selected tasks. I determine in which order I would like to start working on them. To set the order, I add just 1, 2, 3, etc behind the due date. (Using the short cut d). When this is done, I have my order action list for today.
At the end of the day, I remove the due date from all not completed actions in the smart list "To Do Today @ work". The actions are "transferred" as regular tasks to the smart list "Next actions @ work".
---------
Filter for Next tasks @ work: (priority:2) and (not tag:shopping) and (not tag:somedaymaybe) and (not tag:waitingon) and ( dueWithin:"1 week of today" or due:never or dueBefore:today) and (not tag:@home) and (not tagContains:agenda) and (not tag:@read)

One addition, when you need to add extra urgent tasks during the day. Just add them in the smart list "To do Today @ work", RTM automatically fills in the due date. As a result the new action is on top of the list and ready to be picked up. If you don't need it to do ASAP, you could change the due date.
