I keep RTM and Gmail open all the time. RTM's hotkeys are very close to Gmails, but not identical. I found myself using RTM hotkeys to try and control GMail constantly, particularly "n" to deselect all messages.

I finally used the Gmail Labs Keyboard Shortcut setting to set "n" to deselect all messages and "a" to select all.

I'm sure there are other hot keys that it would make sense to change.
