Creating tasks from email

If you're like me then you probably spend half your day living in email and some of the time creating new tasks in Remember the Milk, based on email requests.
My tip to improve the workflow of noting tasks down from email is to simply review your email as normal and, for any emails that need tasks creating, simply forward them on to your remember the milk import address. if you edit the subject line to the title of the task and delete the body content then a nie shiny new task will appear in your RTM Inbox.
This might seem a bit of a basic activity but the nice thing is that mentally it associates the creation of the task to the review of the email and, depending on how you have your email setup, it can also be the reason why your email is marked as 'Read'. I find this really helps me keep track of what emails I've reviewed and gives me the confidence that anything critical from my 'Read' emails is safely stored in my task list and ready for action.
