I use the E-Mail interface of RTM to generate tasks for myself. I live in Germany, we have a service called Packstation. You get a notification whenever a parcel is ready. This notification is sent via mail. So whenever I get a mail from a certain sender with a certain subject I generate a RTM mail which is sent to my RTM account. And voila, I don't need to write reminders for myself anymore.

The only crucial thing is that you need an emailprovider that lets you generate mails based on specific filters. In Germany I use GMX for this purpose. They have a powerful filter and generation engine.
