Tracking Prayer Requests

cbullock81 says:
I've never thought of this before, but as a Christian, I very often tell people that "I'll pray for you" or "I'll pray for that situation." I have the best intentions, but 95% of the time, it just does not cross my mind while I'm having my prayer time.

I just recently setup a list called Prayer. Now when I tell someone I will be praying about a situation with them, I add a task to the "Prayer" list.

When I have my prayer time, I just pull up the "Prayer" list on my phone and remember who I said I would pray for.

RTM is going to help my spiritual life this year! :-)

I feel the same way and just added the same list...one other thing I am going to do, is when someone asks me to pray for an upcoming something...actually get the date for that something so I can watch it come up the list and then be able to ask them how it went...I will be able to use this as a huge relational tool.

I am also going to set up a series of tags that go along with the context of where the info comes from...for example "cell group" or "coworker" or "family" or "missions" so I can pull up the specified list when I am praying in those specific contexts.

I am learning to love rmilk the more I use it !!!

I have been doing the same thing for about a year. Also another nice trick is that you can create a big list of all the people you would like to pray for in a text editor or in Simplenote or something similar. Then you can go through your list day by day.

When you have gone through the entire list, grab your entire list and use the import email address to add everyone back to your list.
