Hi,

I am finding that my various insurance renewal reminders are arriving closer and closer to the renewal date, and with most of my insurance policies now automatically renewing unless I contact them, it is leaving less and less time to shop around for a better deal.

So what I have done, is created a task for each insurance policy I have (house, car, pet etc.) with a due date a month before the policy is due to be renewed. In the notes section for each task I put the amount I am currently paying together with any links to insurance companies that have been recommended by friends and family.

Now I get reminded a month in advance, which gives me time to shop around for the best deal before I get my renewal reminder.
