how do i get rid of date format default

in other words when i type the word monday in a task it puts that task on the following monday and the word monday is no longer in the task. Can I get rid of this date and time option? Like when I put a number in a task it thinks its a time and deletes the number from the task and puts a time on the task instead. I just want it so when i write a task it is accepted exactly as i type it and i'll use the due date options to place the task on the day i want it to be placed

Try enclosing the task name in double quotes (like "here goes your task name with monday and numbers"). Everything inside the quotes will make up the task name, everything outside will be interpreted as usual.

This is something our Smart Add service provides.

You can work around it—see our Smart Add FAQ for examples—or disable Smart Add entirely.

Hope this helps!

now I understand, its a feature called smart add. I have tried to disable smart add, but I cannot. I read the FAQ on how to disable.
I have an android phone-Evo.
I went to RTM settings-general- there is no option here for smart add or on any settings that i can find.

If you haven't done so already, would it be possible to submit a Tasks & Lists issue report via our support system?

Please select the issue that you're experiencing from the list on the left, and follow the steps shown. If your issue isn't listed, just click on "I'd like to report a new issue" on the left.

Your report should provide all the info that we need to investigate further, but we'll be in touch via email if we require any more details.

Thanks!
