I have been following the requests for flexibility of reminders for a number of years, there have been workarounds, but they don't really hit the spot and usually involve another program/service.

These are deleted at regular intervals due to "closed automatically due to a lack of responses in the past month" (originally 6 months). So if you really want it, you need to keep it alive folks...:-)

It would be great to see Bob turn his attention to this challenge. I think tags and smartlists lay a foundation for reminders that could be extremely powerful for the end user without being that hard to code.
