I love RTM and use it exclusively for task management and share lists with my family and coworkers to keep us all on the same page.

I like to keep lists of things, like music, or fishing lures and have used a spreadsheet in the past.

As you can guess, I HAD to come up with a way to help consolidate my lists, or "catalogs", into RTM.

I know there are several ways you can do this by including and excluding various "flag" tags, but when trying that I inevitably ran across a combination of tags in one item that would "break" my logic.

I realized last night that I can simply mark them all as complete, and then start my "Item Catalog" smartlists by searching only complete items, and then using a normal tag system to refine the search.

It has worked for me for a few types of "catalogs", and hopefully it will help one of you as well!
