RTM/Palm Pre/Google Calendar issue - RTM entries missing on Palm Pre calendar
stephen.mcvarnock says:
Hi,
I have looked through the forums and I have not fund anything quite matching my issue hence the new post.
I have a Palm Pre and have sync'd the calendar with my Google account calendar. That works fine.
For Google calendar I have added the RTM Daily and sidebar gadget. Again, these all look fine when I view my Google calendar with my browser on the laptop.
Now, when I look at my Palm Pre calendar I can see that there is an RTM task icon at the start of each day. However, none of the entries from RTM/Google has made it onto the Palm Pre calendar i.e. it is always empty. In fact, clicking on this task icon on the Plam Pre simply brings up the page for adding a new entry.
Can anyone advise on what my next step should be for syncing the calendar entries correctly on the Palm Pre?
Thanks in advance,
Steve.

There is now a beta app for the Palm Pre available from here.

Note, this application is not endorsed or sponsored by Remember the Milk, but uses the Remember the Milk API.

I found this discussion on the RTM forum.
https://www.rememberthemilk.com/forums/android/10008
Now, this is regarding the same issue but on the Android platform. I applied the same fix though and I am making progress.
I have encountered a few issues but they seem to be Google issues as opposed to Palm.
The long and short of it is that I am now seeing RTM tasks individually appearing on my Palm Pre Calendar app

I follow the link
https://www.rememberthemilk.com/forums/android/10008
but I cannot find the following screen and information:
2. Find the iCalendar feed URL
1. Switch to the list which has the iCalendar feed you wish to subscribe to.
2. Make sure you have no tasks selected so that the list details box appears on the right.
3. Copy the 'iCalendar (Events)' URL from the list details box by right-clicking (or CTRL-clicking) on the link.

Made some progress, I found the iCalendar Events Service (All Lists) link under Info tab. But if I use this link
webcal://www.rememberthemilk.com/icalendar/XXXX/events/ as the iCalendar feed URL, it does not work.
How do I find the correct iCalendar feed URL?

If you haven't done so already, would it be possible to submit an iCalendar Feeds issue report via our support system?
Please select the issue that you're experiencing from the list on the left, and follow the steps shown. If your issue isn't listed, just click on "I'd like to report a new issue" on the left.
Your report should provide all the info that we need to investigate further, but we'll be in touch via email if we require any more details.
Thanks!

I followed the instructions and added the 'iCalendar (Events)' URL to the Google Calendar. At first, all the tasks appeared on the Google calendar. After I created new tasks on RTM gadget/site, however, the added iCalendar was not updated with the new created tasks.
