Don't feel like organizing your rtm manually:

Most of the time when I add my tasks it consists of TITLE & DUE DATE. So if you are lazy like me & don't feel like organizing your task manually into different lists but you'd really like to see a neat to do list here's how I organized my lists. It's few, neat & compact

I have lists: Inbox, Birthdays, Exams, Sent
and Smartlists: No Due Dates, Things to Buy, Work & Upcoming

I have a list of "things to buy" but with no dates assigned & so it messed up my "No Due Dates" smartlist that is for other purpose.

So I created a smartlist for NO DUE DATES with due:never NOT tag:TB & for THINGS TO BUY with tag:TB

eg: TASKS: "read a book" & "a netbook #tb" --> The former goes to my "No Due Dates" & the later hits my "Things to Buy" list.

When I add a task that relates to my works I only add a title & date. And so things get messed up in my inbox when I log in so I created a smartlist "WORK" that relates to my work & is needed

"list:Inbox NOT tag:tb NOT due:never"

*tb -> you can replace with your own tag

And for Upcoming: dueWithin: "1 week of today"
