Want to be able to:

1. Email reminders to list of my choosing (not just "inbox" or the "default" list
2. Reply to email (like w/iWantSandy) to postpone, complete, or even change details of a task, but not using Twitter

Any thoughts? This is one of the few things that Sandy does better than RTM. Wouldnt seem hard to for RTM to add though, and would allow for more robust interaction with tasks

I don't know if this is in the pipes or not, but I email myself a lot of tasks. Then I get emailed reminders when the task is meant to happen.

It would be great if I could reply to a reminder and let RTM know I've completed the task.

I'm sure you could add a field with Status : Completed or a code number in the body of the email?

rtmraphael, you can use Smart Add to designate where you want tasks to go, and you can change your default list if that's more what you want to do.

Various closely related ideas along these lines have come up repeatedly, for years.

Completion via email, via IM, completion via clicking a URL in an email, etc.
