I create a list that is the name of the city as throughout the time I have before I visit, I add places that I find or think of to the list, so when I get to the particular city I can bring up the list and check them off as I get to visit them.
For example, when I next go to Vancouver BC I want to visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge. I added it to my RTM list, add the URL and notes.
When I am ready to visit Vancouver,BC the list of places to visit is already completed and easy to use.
It also helps that I can share the list with friends or family.
To take it to the next level, I can put in locations of areas that I want to visit and using the mobile app, the suggestions popup when I am in the area.
