Use RTM not social media to remember birthdays

Most people seem to rely on social media to remind them of birthdays however with people updating privacy levels or removing accounts, a lot of this information gets lost.
When I first know of someone's birthday I enter their information into a Birthdays list that reminds me every year of their birthday so I don't miss one, plus I create a Smart List of "Upcoming Birthdays": that shows me all birthdays in the next 10 days so I can remember to get a gift or send a card in time.
