A feed containing the number of completed items

I like to keep track of how many tasks I've completed during the day. Checking the website's ok, but a bit cumbersome.

Instead I've put together a feed that sends you the number of tasks in a RTM list. I have it updating a number on my smartphone's background, but you could just as easily use an RSS feed reader on your iPhone or PC etc.

The feed works through a Yahoo Pipe (see below); copy and paste an Atom feed from a RTM list into the website and you'll get a feed with the number of tasks in the list broken down by priority. To get only tasks you've completed today, create a smart list from the search 'completedWithin:"1 day of today" ' and use the Atom feed from that.

The pipe can be modified through a graphical interface. RTM's smart lists are already pretty powerful, but Yahoo pipes are very flexible. I'd be interested to see if anyone manages to come up with other uses.

Minor correction: completed:"today" is simpler :-)
