I just started using RTM (will upgrade when trial ends) with my wife's Blackberry. I perused the forums and learned how to use Smart Lists and to use tags to make things easier. My primary reason to use RTM is for shopping lists. Obviously I was disappointed to learn you can't use them on the Blackberry.

The workaround I used was to create a regular list to correspond to each Smart List with the grocery department name. I copied (do NOT move) the Smart List contents to the regular list and then changed the priority back to "none" for each one of the Smart Lists. I have only those lists sync.with the Blackberry.

We went shopping today and was able to mark each item complete as we shopped. Deleted them all on the Blackberry and synced so the shopping lists got emptied out. Since I used Smart Lists to begin with, my "Food List" list is still full and the process is ready to repeat in two weeks.
