Follow up reminders for job applications

If you are in the process of applying and interviewing for jobs, it’s always a good idea to follow up to show interest. I have no problem remembering to send a thank you email within 24 hours of an interview but I always forget to send follow ups.
My solution is to create 2 follow up reminders for each position I apply to. I space the reminders two weeks apart so I’m in front of the hiring manager without being too aggressive.
