I converted from Palm to RTM. I liked Palm's memo feature, which was separate from the to do list. I created my own memos in RTM by setting up to dos without a date. I name them 1-memo name; 2-memo name; 3-memo name, etc. This orders them if I want to override the alphabetical order. I also tag them "memo." This has been a simple, good, workable solution for me.
