Unselecting All (work around)
Not sure what's going on with the T&T forum, but I am not seeing any items in this forum. I'm a relatively new user, but swear it was awash with items two weeks ago, and now none.
In any case, something that has bothered me since switching my office over to RTM is the multi-selection functionality (i.e, multi-tasks selected and then remain selected after taking an action). It would be nice to have an EASY-to-use keyboard short-cut (* n, or more accurately, shift-8-n, is little clunky) and the unselect button at the top is fine, but *not* a keyboard short cut.
To circumvent this, I created a AutoHotKey script that remaps both Ctl-N and Ctl-J to "* n". These are both much easier hotkeys than shft-8-n (* n). AutoHotKey is worth a look for this functionality and for possibly remapping other RTM hotkeys to something that might be easier for a given user.
