+1 for vista sidebar gadget, would make life so much easier - I would even upgrade to Pro for that

I'd use the Vista sidebar gadget for sure.
I'm still not comfortable enough using RTM from my desktop machine to pay for BlackBerry sync. The two together would seal the deal.

Vista gadget! Not because I want to quickly add stuff, but because I want my tasks in my face, and being reminded of them every time I look at the desktop!

Vista Gadget vote here too. The active desktop on XP option is nice - but can't do that on Vista.

You can totally do active desktop on Vista too! Well sorta. So here's what I did to get it... (very similar to the XP active desktop tutorial)
1) Goto the microsoft website and look for the gadget 'minibrowser' or you can click the link below.
http://gallery.live.com/liveItemDetail.aspx?li=83ad7bc9-48d7-455f-b659-d3f58cc11155&bt=1&pl=1
2) Download the gadget and put it on your sidebar.
3) Login to remember the milk through internet explorer and make sure you hit 'remember me on this computer'.
4) Next point the minibrowser gadget to the address http://rememberthemilk.com/services/modules/googleig/
Voila! You have access to RTM on your desktop! If you want the window to be larger, you can click on the settings icon for the gadget and there is a 'size' tab where you can adjust the size of the window. Hope this helps some people!!

Sorry, also you can hide the address bar, status bar, and buttons that would detract from a super sexy desktop too :) All in the settings!

I also made a blog post about it with more detailed instructions if you're interested.
RTM on your Vista Desktop
