Twitter DM deletion

I use Twitter DMs to create tasks sometimes. Does deleting the DM, say a day later, much after RTM has created a task based on the DM have any effect? I like to keep my twitter DM list clean by cleaning it out once in a while, but I don't want to inadvertently delete any tasks that would have been created based on them.

No, deleting your DMs wouldn't affect your tasks themselves. The DMs just serve as confirmations of added tasks or other actions. Clean away! :)
