Remember The Milk interface

The Service

Managing tasks is generally not a fun way to spend your time. We created Remember The Milk so that you no longer have to write your to-do lists on sticky notes, whiteboards, random scraps of paper, or the back of your hand. Remember The Milk makes managing tasks an enjoyable experience.

We began work on Remember The Milk in August 2004. What started as a simple idea soon became a huge web application with every feature imaginable (there's a reason why this took more than a year to finish!). We launched in October 2005. Remember The Milk now has more than 1.5 million registered users.

The Team

Remember The Milk was created by a small Australian company, originally founded by two people and one stuffed monkey (yes, really).

Emily Boyd

Emily Boyd, co-founder & interface designer. Emily is completely obsessed with task management, and loves designing new features for Remember The Milk. She's a coffee addict (drink of choice: white chocolate mocha) and enjoys travelling the world. Emily lives in Sydney, Australia.

Omar Kilani

Omar Kilani, co-founder & software engineer. Omar is an active contributor to the open source software community, and maintains a number of projects that he has worked on during the development of Remember The Milk. Omar loves coffee and lives in Sydney, Australia.

Ab Kilani

Ab Kilani, software engineer. Ab recently graduated with his Computer Science degree from the University of New South Wales. When he's not busy coding, Ab enjoys playing soccer, trivia, and eating icecream. Ab resides in Sydney, Australia.

Artemy Tregubenko

Artemy Tregubenko, software engineer. Artemy is a devoted JavaScript programmer who "escaped the frosts of the Russian digital plantation", to use his favourite language. When he's not obsessed with web standards, Artemy likes to cycle, watch movies, and share delicious Papa John's pizza with his friends in Moscow, Russia.

Michael Wolf

Michael Wolf, software engineer. Prior to RTM, Michael spent several years at Ximian and Novell in a variety of roles, most recently working full-time on openSUSE. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two cats, reading, and noodling on his guitar and piano. Hailing from Boston, Michael currently lives in Mexico City.

Andrew Conkling

Andrew Conkling, technical support engineer. Andrew used to help people with their PDAs and computers; now he helps people make the most of RTM on their PDAs and computers (and everywhere else). He also became a big fan of GTD because of his love for RTM. When he's not answering everyone's questions, he tries to decide which he loves more: coffee or tea? Szechuan food or Thai food? Andrew lives in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Bob T. Monkey

Bob T. Monkey. Remember The Milk is Bob's very first job, but he has already made an extremely valuable contribution, writing several thousand lines of JavaScript while the other team members relaxed on the beach. Bob is an inspiration to other young stuffed monkeys hoping to break into the web scene. Bob lives on a desk in Sydney, Australia.
