Search Keywords are Case-Sensitive

topper says:

I've learned (the hard way) that search words are case sensitive. I could not get DueBefore:today to pull up my overdue items; changed it to (actually copied from advanced search page) dueBefore:today and it works.

Is this information posted somewhere that I didn't look, or read?
