Easily Add Commonly Used Tags Quickly

eoe says:
I have a system that uses a bunch of systematic tags (e.g., iu for important urgent, inu for important not urgent, f3 for not fun, e1 for a lot of energy needed).

Some combinations I use often. For instance, when I make a task to follow-up with someone whom I've sent an email, I use the following tags very consistently:

#iu #f3 #e3 =15 min ~in 1 week

Rather than type that in each time, I installed the Word Expander app PhraseExpress [1] and if I type "iu-waiting" it expands to all the appropriate tags.

I don't know anything about the app, but your tagging system is a very good idea. Thanks for sharing!

TextBlaze is another text expander that works well; it is all in-browser.

To use common (sets of) tags, you could set up a smart list selecting for those tags. Any task you add to that list will get those tags automatically.
