I maintain a Word Document that I need to print and share from time to time. Very often that document includes people or events that I need to set up actions or follow up on.

I type the person or event in my Word document. I then create a task in RTM and then copy the URL that is in the URL bar. I return to Word and select the appropriate text and "right" click and enter the URL in the input field that appears. Thereafter, if I need to set up a subtask regarding that item I just need to click the word/phrase. I feel certain that other programs such as Excel would work just as well.
