I have the same issue. The robustness of the software is lacking. At least enable a flash procedure, of mastering the outlook side to RTM, as a quick fix. I'm wasting more time with my tasks than before due to this syncing.

Currently, MilkSync is only able to see tasks located in the default Tasks folder of your Outlook profile. It's not possible to have it sync other folders.

However, MilkSync uses Outlook categories to determine lists and tags for tasks from Outlook. Any category beginning with # is considered to be a tag while any other category is considered to be a list.

If you'e able to keep all your tasks in the main Tasks folder and use Outlook categories to separate them instead, MilkSync will be able to differentiate between lists this way.

Multiple task lists in outlook sync with RTM

With the standard setup of the sync I can only see the main tasklist of my outlook profile, in this way I can only have a total overview when I am werking in outlook..

I have sent a message about this, but posting here too in the hope that other users may have experienced this and can help if the helpdesk take a while to look at it.

I have installed Milksync today and the following happened:

1. Online account (web based) now shows all tasks, whether created on iPhone or Outlook
2. iPhone is unchanged, no Outlook tasks have been added to it despite them making it to the web account, but tasks created in the app are still there
3. Outlook - literally every single task has been deleted. The list is empty.

2-way syncing and "all lists" are enabled.

Any advice? :-(

In general, the proxy information should match your username and/or domain, as well as your password. The information should match what is in Internet Explorer in most cases, but may not. We can help in general, but your IT department may need to confirm authentication details when we can't help narrow down the proper way to enter them in the proxy dialog.

Whenever I create a task in Outlook 2010 two tasks are created. (one imidietly and one about two seconds later. One hast the right (chosen) category and one has none and syncs with the inbox.

one list out of sync - how to fix?

I didn't realize it but, for a week, my outlook wasn't syncing with RTM. (I needed to change a setting, which I have since done). My problem is that I made a lot of changes to one of my lists during that week. Since I fixed my settings, all my new changes are sync'ing, but not the changes I made during the off -week.

Is there anyway to "push" all of the items from this one list from my desktop to RTM?

When I create new tasks in Outlook, they appear in RTM. But completing tasks in Outlook does not make them disappear in RTM.

Is proxy with authrization supported by MilkSync ?

When I press Sync button I get pop-up dialog box which request my proxy login and password. But as soon as I enter these details I get this authorization dialog again and again, it looks like I'm entering wrong password. I've made a lot of attempts including copy&paste of auth. details, but it did not help.

Can somebody give an advice regarding this problem?

Is MilkSync able to use default proxy setting of the IE browser ?

P.S. The proxy server uses domain account user name and password, can it be the reason of the problem ?

I've set my Blackberry to sync 'From RTM' every 10 minutes but it is not working.

It works OK if I 'Sync Now'.

Cannot be a connection or account problem, it just does not seem to be running every 10 minutes.

Any ideas?

MilkSync doesn't sync reminder times to Remember The Milk, as Remember The Milk doesn't support separate reminders for individual tasks. (Currently, you can have reminders at a set time of day, and reminders for specific tasks at or around their due time.)

At this time, MilkSync is not able to sync emails that have been flagged for followup, sorry. The problem is that, even though these tasks appear in your task list, Outlook doesn't actually create a task item for them.

This thread in our Ideas forum gives a bit more info on this. You can also vote for the feature there to show your support.

Emails Flagged for Followup?

It does work the other way (with some time lag though). If you add a task through Siri and the check it as complete on the web or RTM iPhone app, it will eventually disappear from the Reminders app.
So there's no need to use the Reminders app actually...
