Outlook categories dissappear

Hi RTM team,

I'm referreing to this entry, which is closed:

http://www.rememberthemilk.com/forums/milksync/13619/ . I and some of my colleagues do have the same problem with MilkSync for Outlook. We regularely loose our Outlook color categories.

I suppose MilkSync is responsible for this error because it's the only Plug-In which queries and uses categories in Outlook.

Can you please look into this issue? This is quite a severe bug for us and we did not notice this before.

MilkSync has removed all my assigned Color Categories and replaced with the Remember the Milk tags. As said before this is a huge issue if people are using this extensively! Please fix!

MilkSync uses Outlook categories to map both lists and tags in Remember The Milk. Any category that begins with the # character is considered to be a tag, while any other category is considered to be a list. This is explained a bit more in the MilkSync for Outlook FAQ.

Same here! Ran MilkSync once with Outlook on exchange online server. It removed all Categories and colors and replaced it with the purple inbox category. I've uninstalled MilkSync and I still can't change to a different category color?

This is a HUGE problem for our us. Please Post a fix.
