"Repeat After" items double posting.

I've had some of my "Repeat After Tues, Wed, Fri and Sat" items suddenly doubling up on me. Occasionally I get one overdue with a date from 1970? Anyone else having a similar issue?

If I postpone a repeat after event, I often wind up with multiple instances. For this reason, I try to never postpone recurring items, which is less than ideal.
