Anyway to have the actual sms message to pop up?

When I get a sms sent to my iPhone via RTM the text that pops up is 400-02 or some other number combination. This forces me to have to go into the text program to read a reminder. Anyway to set RTM to display the message rather than 400-02 when it pops up?
