 | karsten.seiferlin says: I look at my tasks like they are locations in a 4 dimensional space. The 4 dimensions are list, tag, due date and location. If I want to find a specific task, I have to constrain as many of these 4 dimensions as possible.
I suggest to add a graphical representation of 3 dimensions (tags, location, list) in the shape of a pyramid/tetrahedron, floating in space, where the three visible faces of the tetrahedron show lists of tags, locations and lists. One would grasp the tip of the pyramid to drag it such that faces can be viewed more or less oblique. Tapping on the tags, lists and locations on the three faces would select them as search patterns.
The time dimension could be selected with a strip that could be dragged (see the Weightbot App as an example).
Contact me if you want to discuss this in more detail, and please apologize my English - I'm not a native speaker. I might also prepare a sketch to illustrate what I mean. Posted at 10:23am on November 18, 2008 |
