If the tags are deleted, you can delete them in the iPad app as well. Otherwise they will show up in the Tags. You could also rename past/completed projects' tags, e.g. 'zprj_…" so they sort to the bottom.

Otherwise, a slightly different approach would be to create Smart Lists for each active project, say one that searches for tag:prj_Active, and then rely on the Lists view instead of the Tags view to pull up your projects' tasks.

Smart Tag List

In my RTM account every task is tagged with a "prj_..." tag to identify the associated project.

When iI look the tag list, every tag used in the past is here, resulting in cluttered and very log list.

How about a Smart list of tags, added to the smart list of tasks?

If you're getting stuck at "Verifying...", be sure you're adding a CalDAV account (as opposed to a CardDAV account).

I'm experiencing problems - namely in Verifying the siri account.

It takes 60 seconds, then claims it can't verify.

Next the reminder list section is empty, not showing the Remember the Milk List.

What can I do?

The list counts in the app should refresh automatically after you make a change in the app, or after a sync. If the list is a Smart List, you might see a delay while the task count is recalculated, but you shouldn't have to tap on the list to refresh it.

Ios not refreshing numbers

One (only one) annoying thing about the ios app is that is appears that the list counts in the sidebar are only updated when you visit the list. If you have just done some updates, you need to visit each list to update the counts.

Is it possible to refresh these lists counts on a manual or automatic refresh?

You may want to try assigning higher priority levels to your important tasks or your next actions. The built-in "Today" list in the iPad will sort higher priority items at the top of the list.

Priority can be edited by tapping on the task, tapping on Edit, then on Priority.

Reminders in the iOS apps are issued via Push Notification. This means they're sent from our servers and not from the device itself, so you can receive the reminder on your device even if you haven't synced yet.

Could this explain what you're seeing?

This is interesting, RTM on my iPad syncs when I'm not using it so long as I've not actually closed down the app.

I've just tested it by creating a task on-line with a reminder for 5 mins and without me open RTM on either my iPhone or iPad the task was there and the alarm went off.

I went ahead and followed your instructions. I deleted the account and then created a brand-new account under the mail, contacts, calendar section. Everything went through successful and it showed a new calendar/reminders account that I called RTM.

I then went into the settings/reminders section and try to set this as the default but it is not showing up. The only option that is showing is to choose the default reminders section.

If you haven't done so already, you may want to try deleting the Remember The Milk CalDAV account from your iPad under Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. You can then re-add it using the instructions on the Siri page.

After adding the account again, if you're still unable to add tasks via Siri, please contact us so we can take a closer look.

Siri and Reminders

So I had everything set up perfectly. I would speak to Siri on my iPad and set a reminder that would be added to my remember the milk account. All of a sudden today, the reminders stopped going to remember the milk.

I wasn't sure where the reminders were going so I looked in the reminder application and there is a section under there that says remember the milk that has all of my tasks listed. I can't figure out why they are not listing or being forwarded to my remember the milk account.

Help!
