Have a new idea?
| lttp says: Could we have a trash can to recover accidentally deleted tasks please?

| fuzzyfeet says: I agree - it is so easy to delete something really important and not know it - and that's scary for me. (bad memory) Thanks if you can do this. Posted 2 years ago |
| followdream says: I totally agree.

| turkeyphant says: Can we not have a deleted tasks list just like the completed list? Posted 1 year ago |
| hybris says: I've lost two tasks the last few weeks with notes that I'm pretty sure I didn't delete myself. It almost seems like there some kind of bug lurking around here. On both tasks my last action was to add a note and store it. The next time I went to my rememberthemilk site the task was gone.. :-/ Posted 1 year ago |

xuboxin says:Yes, recycle bin is what RTM needs! Tasks are sometimes deleted on Android by mistake as the screen left unlock. Posted 1 year ago |
| bluesgeek says: We should have a way to verify before delete. My OS has it and all of the professional apps I use either provide a verify dialog or a way to examine items about to be deleted. It is unacceptable to be working along only to discover (or not) that a task is missing because I didn't notice that it was checked and was accidentally deleted. Posted 1 year ago |
| goldtrad says: I just started using rtm today. Recycle bin is indeed a tool that would be helpful. Posted 1 year ago |
| lipor says: Any news on this??? C´mon guys this would be very helpful.... everyone makes mistakes and this could be a life saver...please :) Posted 1 year ago |

risk says:I like turkeyphant's request. Deleted tasks go to a list that can be manually emptied or after x days. Posted 1 year ago |
| colin_thames says: I agree, I accidentally deleted a task from App for Milk because what I thought was a check box turned out to be a delete button. By the time I went to the web version it had disappeared there too. Posted 10 months ago |
| colin_thames says: Thankfully the item hadn't been deleted, just marked as complete, so I was able to reinstate it. Thanks turkeyphant for pointing out that there was a list of Completed Items. I hadn't found it until now. Posted 10 months ago |
| bookrackbooks says: Yes, please help protect me from myself. A trash bin or any secondary step before gone forever. Thanks. Posted 10 months ago |

alan.richomme says:yes, ability to undelete tasks important + option to be asked if you rally want to delete Posted 6 months ago |
andypryke says:I'm regretting going pro now. Is there any ongoing development on this? Posted 5 months ago |
| amardip.sekhon says: I've inadvertently deleted tasks as well and would love to recover them. I only notice later when I search for a task and it's missing. It's especially frustrating when there's a note attached. It would be so great to have the option to review a deleted tasks list. I agree that auto-purging it every 30 days or so would be more than enough time to recover any accidentally deleted items. Posted 5 months ago |
| amardip.sekhon says: Actually, I think the tasks are disappearing on their own, as per hybris and andypryke above. Possible causes could be using the Postpone button as that is the only action I've taken on the missing tasks. I also use the Android app to sync but didn't take any action on the missing tasks in the Android app. Posted 5 months ago |
miteshashar says:Yes! I did the same! I deleted tasks by mistake! Posted 14 weeks ago |
| manolson says: I am considering abandoning rememberthemilk.com for some other solution due to the lack of this feature (and the fact that after doing an action on a tasks, it is not unselected - a VERY DANGEROUS COMBINATION ... I don't even know what I may have just lost - 100% unacceptable ! ) Posted 12 weeks ago |
| tylertolman says: WOULD LOVE RECYCLE BIN! I'll pay for it...really I will. :-) Posted 2 days ago |
