Sending things to the inbox is helpful, IF I remember later to check and deal with the accumulation.
Is it possible that the Inbox tab could light up, blink, have a (#) appear, etc, when it contains new items?

I have two 'validation' smart lists that seek out items without time estimates and without tags to ensure nothing slips through like this, but the inbox is a bit of a black hole.
I know there's the What's New summary in the overview, but I often find that those fields don't really seem to update.
