Have a new idea?
| milhose96 says: I would love to be able to sort my tasks on any given list by the date I originally added it. This way I could easily see which tasks I am putting off, because they would be at the top of my lists. I have found that I like to not use priorities and due dates when not necessary, but with that being said my lists feel fairly unorganized. My favorite feature of a paper-based task list is just that; if I have something not completed above a ton of completed tasks, I know that I am putting it off and that I should be either focusing on it, or reconsidering if I need to do it at all.

dave.pearce says:I agree 100%. If you were able to sort by date added, it would be my preferred sorting for all my lists. Please :) Please :) Posted 2 years ago |

| jasonfounts says: Might as well tack me onto this list. I like the workaround for displaying the date added but would like this visible as well. Thanks! Posted 2 years ago |

| travia20 says: Why can't we sort by date added? Posted 1 year ago |
| fudzzz says: Yep, I really can't believe these guys left out that simple sort feature. Date added would be the most useful way to sort stuff, and that would be my preferred method Posted 1 year ago |

| ekmagos says: The added date is already stored so it seems like it is just an interface issue where the option is made available. Hopefully that can be made a priority. Posted 1 year ago |

| pauljacobson says: This has been bugging me since I switched to RTM and I came up with a solution which doesn't look very pretty but it does work. What I have started doing is adding the date which I add the tasks to my lists to the name of the tasks in the following format: Posted 1 year ago |
| craig.broadbear says: i need this. Im currently looking for a replacement that does this sorting by default. Posted 1 year ago |
| craig.broadbear says: i like to quickly add several tasks at a time - i dont mess around with due dates I just want a list in the same order I enter the tasks. e.g. like a text file! Posted 1 year ago |

german.escallon says:Yes!! Developers.. This is a basic feature that should've been there from the beginning. It resembles a paper list. Duh!!! Posted 8 months ago |
lkolny says:+1 it's a pity there was no response from RTM team on that subject :-( Posted 7 months ago |
| pjpw says: Come on RTM. This is a must have and as the date added is already captured just not displayed by default surely it would not be too difficult to implement. Posted 6 months ago |

jpetro says:if you add a note it's puts a date on it, but this feature would be great. Posted 5 months ago |
