This has been posted about before I know, but some time ago, and I can't believe its that difficult to implement - an option to change the width of the task pane in GMail for those of us with plenty of screen to play with.

I managed to hack it to 300 pixels wide using the DOM inspector, so I'm sure for someone with some real coding skill, it would be trivial. Even just 2 or 3 choices for now would be better than a fixed width.

Here's hoping :)
