Adobe Air app?

james.hafner says:

Having no idea how involved something like this would be, what are the chances of porting something like RTM for Gmail to a standalone Adobe Air app? Not necessarily for offline purposes, but rather for having a little 'to-do' screen open on my desktop w/out having to go to Gmail to check my tasks or RTM.com. Just a thought.

RTM for Gmail is sexy. Adobe Air apps are sexy. RTM Adobe Air (that works just like RTM Gmail) would be amazingly practical AND sexy!

Just a thought. Keep up the good work, y'all.

Another thumbs up for this. I have been searching for an AIR app for RTM for a couple of months now, and other than the one linked to elsewhere on these forums which no longer works because it uses a previous version of AIR, there's nothing out there (http://www.weeatbricks.com/2008/03/03/remember-the-milk-using-adobe-air/ ).

As someone who really wants this, and as the author of the montly "Cool Tools" feature in Information Today (www.infotoday.com), I can pretty much guarantee that anyone who makes this and does a good job with it will get some press coverage :)

+1 from me. Something that would function similar to Doomi but synced up with RTM would be sweet.

This one is updated and working again:

Have to admit, I was a little disappointed to see that all it does is create a separate window for the RTM site. I was hoping for something more like a the Gmail sidebar as an app. Still, its something though.

Hi

Just a quick note that I've updated my air app (Rtm Notifier) so that

- you have a notification for each due task

- you can you to postpone for 15 mins, postpone for 1 day, complete or delete a task from the tasks notification

- enables you to decide which due tasks you are notified about by switching on / off lists or by tagging a task

- enables you to add tasks

It does have a few more functions but I wont go into every feature here, for more details see http://rtm-notifier.com
