Sort Tasks freeform via this script?

I saw the post about sorting via date, alpha, etc.

I'd like to see freeform sorting similar to this example: http://demo.script.aculo.us/ajax/sortable_elements

I don't know if you could have a toggle switch for freeform vs. some other method. But, that would be cool.
