Friendlier due dates

I'd find it really useful to be able to see which day my due dates are in the task lists without having to hover over them:

e.g. 25 Nov > Fri 25 Nov

PS I've become a RTM addict - thanks for such a fantastic tool :D

As a related idea, would people find it useful to show the day instead of the date if the due date was in the next few days? For example, showing 'Tue' instead of 'Dec 6'? Or is the actual date still relevant in that case?

Maybe you could hook this into a date format selection which each user could use to specify if they like mm/dd or dd/mm or ddd mm/dd or etc. as their preferred format across the board in RTM?
