Searching multiple tags

I am having trouble searching more than one tag. I tried using the following, but I am not getting any results:

tag:xxxx AND tag:yyyy
-----

What am I doing wrong? Is there a certain command when searching multiple tags? The reason is that I want to merge them together into one smart list. Please let me know asap. Thanks.

That's the correct way to search -- do you receive the results you expect when searching for each of the tags individually?

That query will only return tasks that have both of the tags -- if you just want to find tasks that have one of the tags, use OR instead of AND.
