Replace Google taskslist with RTM

I'm not sure specifically what you mean, but you can disable Gmail's Tasks by clicking the X in the Tasks pane. You can further remove the functionality by disabling it in your Settings under Labs.
To use the create-a-task-by-starring-a-message feature, you'll need the Firefox extension installed and then to enable the setting on the Tasks tab of Gmail's Settings.
